This REPEAT last appeared in Vintages (***) on October 14, 2011 at $49.95 and was a Recommended Best Buy with 91-points (#705673). Here is my previous note based on a sample provided by the previous agent: Light gold colour. Essence of sweet ripe fresh Anjou pear. Sweet, fairly rich, juicy, gently viscous, ripe Anjou pear purée flavours. A delicious sipper, it is perfect for mixed drinks. Has 30% alcohol. It is currently only $49.50 at the SAQ (#10825920). TASTING NOTE: This Cognac-based liqueur incorporates 20 pounds of pears in each [700]-ml bottle, yielding a rich golden hue and bold fresh-pear scent. As a digestif-worthy sipper, look for a balanced honey and vanilla flavor profile, with a suggestion of pear on the finish. Ideal for cocktails, baking or sipping straight. Rated #96 in the Top 100 Spirits of 2016. Score - 96 (Kara Newman, Wine Enthusiast, Feb. 1, 2016) Price $ 59.95
