| This is one of 78 items (60% of 131 releases) not presented for evaluation under new LCBO policies. Tasted a bottle purchased from Vintages on June 19. Bright light salmon pink colour. Attractive, slightly spicy, faintly floral, honeyed, ripe, plummy-melon nose. Dry, medium-light bodied, harmonious, slightly spicy, vibrant, fresh, raspberry-tinged, ripe plum-cantalope flavours with a crisp unoaked finish. This tasty crowd-pleaser has 13% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar with lot number L1038529/9053X0918 on the capsule. Unfortunately, Gassier’s name does not appear on the front of the bottle. |

This wine's distinctive curvy bottle is hard to miss on our shelves, but it's the floral, fruity wine within that has made it a perennial summer fave among Vintages customers. This has all the attributes you want in a barbecue wine - red fruit, bright food-friendly acidity, and enough structure and presence to pair with pretty much anything off the grill, from pork ribs to salmon to grilled chicken. |
