| Orange-tinged day-glo light salmon colour. Attractive, slightly spicy, ripe plum-cherry-apple strawberry nose. Fairly dry, medium-light bodied, well-balanced, slightly spicy, bright, fresh plum-cherry flavours with a lingering, crisp finish. Tasty and well-priced,this 100% Cabernet Sauvignon has 12.5% alcohol and 5 g/L residual sugar. Perhaps not quite up to the recommended best buy 2017 (**/**+) released on May 26, 2018 at $12.95. |

| First released in 1999, Mulderbosch's rosé was one of the very first of its kind from South Africa. At a time when most pink wines were a byproduct of red wine fermentation, Mulderbosch launched a varietal Cabernet Sauvignon rosé issuing from specially farmed vineyards devoted to producing this blushing beauty. Offering notions of red bell pepper and berries, this is a good choice for those times when you want a pink wine to pair with grilled chicken thighs or steaks. |
