Very deep intense purple colour. Intense, very spicy, juicy, ripe cherry-plum puree nose with some cedary notes. Fairly dry, medium bodied, quite well structured, very spicy, juicy, intense, ripe plum-black-cherry flavours with a lingering, crisp, cedary, fairly high acid finish with some hints of mocha-chocolate. This tasty crowd-pleaser is perfect for BBQ ribs. Predominately aged in French oak barriques (20% new) in Tyrrell’s temperature controlled barrel shed at 16°C for 18 months, during which they were racked three times. It has 14.9% alcohol and 6 g/L residual sugar with a life saving hefty 6.7 g/L total acidity. The lot number L18334 appears on the lower part of the glass bottle. Screwcap closure. CSPC 91488
