| Bright pale straw colour. Lovely, fresh, honeyed, spicy, lychee-tinged, ripe, honeydew-peach-apple nose. Dry, medium to medium-light bodied, smooth, very spicy, bright, intense, ripe, peachy, melon-apple purée flavours with a lingering, nicely structured, crisp, unoaked, mineral-tinged finish. This tasty estate bottled Venetian white may well be the best yet! This ready-to-drink, crowd-pleaser has 12.5% alcohol and and 8 g/L residual sugar with lot number 004LO18 on the lower part of the glass bottle. It's suave but not Soave as some Chardonnay & Sauvignon Blanc has been added to the classic traditional Garganega. This Vintages Essential is widely available and is a perfect Springtime pick-me-up with fresh asperagus. |
