Extremely deep intense purple colour. Attractive, intense, complex, cedary, sandalwood-tinged very ripe plum-cherry purée nose. Dry, medium-full bodied, well structured, slightly spicy, very attractive, ripe plum-cherry-cassis flavours with a lingering, high acid, gently cedary, complex, lingering finish. This blend of 90% Petite Sirah and 10% Zinfandel has 14.5% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar. It spent 18 months in 35% new “Fusion” barrel of French, American and Hungarian oak and 3,500 cases were produced. CSPC 521542

TASTING NOTE: Girard has turned out a beautiful 2014 Petite Sirah from Napa Valley that sells for a song. Luscious blueberry and blackberry fruit, white flowers, silky tannins and that unmistakable floral note from the beautiful fruit jump from the glass of this big, boisterous and exuberant Petite Sirah.
