| Bright medium-deep ruby red colour. Attractive, fresh, ripe, plummy-crancherry nose with some very faint hints of oak. Dry, medium-light bodied albeit fairly well structured, harmonious, faintly floral, very fresh, bright, ripe, plummy-red-cherry-strawberry fruit flavours with a lingering, tangy, well balanced finish. This 2015 is one of the best made by Bouchard Pere & Fils. Don't be fooled by the low price. It’s very bright, versatile and quite ready-to-enjoy. Serve very slightly chilled at about 18ºC. It has 13% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L17046178 on the capsule and 11.04.07-1L18 on the lower part of the glass bottle. TONY ASPLER / 89-points / BEST BUY - Raspberry bouquet with light notes of violets and oak spice; medium-bodied, dry, red plum and raspberry flavours excite the palate ending with a firm tannic finish. Delicious with red meat dishes or lightly chilled and paired with grilled salmon. |
