CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2015 North Coast
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer WILLIAM HILL
Very deep intense purple colour. Spicy, bright cherry nose with some cedary, faintly herbal, dusty, mocha-chocolate notes. Dry, medium bodied, slightly spicy, cherry-plum flavours with a gently cedary finish. Unfortunately, the winery which is owned by Gallo doesn’t reveal the composition of grapes in this 2015. The alcohol is 14% with 8 g/L residual sugar. The lot number 20424170C appears on the lower part of the glass bottle. It’s quite tasty and I wish I could buy it in the US at the $10 mark. The 2014 (**) was released on September 16, 2017 at $22.95. CSPC 453647

TASTING NOTE: It's easy to taste the fresh grape flavors in this medium-bodied, structured and appetizing wine. Good acidity and moderate tannins lift up black grape, blackberry and strawberry flavors to create very good balance. Score - 89 (Jim Gordon, Wine Enthusiast, Dec. 31, 2017) Price $ 22.95
Bottle Size 750 mL
Tasting Date vintages release - June 9, 2018
