Extremely deep intense purple colour. Intense, complex, spicy, ripe plum nose with some cedary cassis notes. Dry, medium-full to full bodied, well structured, dense, ripe plum-cassis-cherry flavours with a lingering, somewhat cedary finish. Still youthful and fairly austere. This blend of 94% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Merlot and 1% Petit Verdot has 14.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar. The 2014 (***) with 92-points was released on December 9, 2017 at $79.95. |

TASTING NOTE: A blend of 94% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Merlot and 1% Petit Verdot, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Artemis (a barrel sample) is a deep garnet-purple color with a lovely nose of pure cassis and blackberries with earth and herbal notions plus violets and an exotic spice waft. Medium to full-bodied, taut and muscular in the expressive mouth, it has grainy tannins and a long finish. Score - 91-93 (Lisa Perrotti-Brown, MW, robertparker.com, Dec. 29, 2017) |
