Very deep intense purple colour. Mature, intense, herbal, dusty, stewed apple-plum nose with lots of cedary notes. Off dry, medium bodied, dense, very cedary, intense, peppery, somewhat baked, oxidized, apple-plum flavours with a lingering, high acid, herbal, bitter finish. This new blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Cabernet Franc, 11% Merlot and 2% Petit Verdot as 15% of the final blend made from dried grapes has 14% alcohol and . This dreamy wine blends Cabernet Sauvignon (60%), Cabernet Franc (27%), Merlot (11%) and Petit Verdot (2%), with 15% of the final blend made from dried grapes. It spent 16 months in a combo of French, American and Hungarian oak barrels. Tuck the wine in the cellar and let it slumber for 5-8 years, or decant it tonight and expect rich dark fruit, smoke and chocolaty notes that'll nicely complement steaks, ribs or smoked cheeses.
