RESERVE ALEXANDER VALLEY CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2014 Alexander Valley, Sonoma County
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer ST. FRANCIS
Extremely deep intense purple colour. Intense, spicy, lifted, crancherry-cassis nose with lots of cedary notes. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, extremely cedary, intense, somewhat peppery, stewed plum-cherry-apple flavours with a lingering, high acid finish. Not my style. Has 14/8% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar. CSPC 562876

TASTING NOTE: Black in color, this heavy concentrated wine is thick in black pepper and clove, with underlying streaks of cedar. Well structured, it unfurls depths of black cherry, currant and vanilla as it develops in the glass, finishing as full bodied as it started.
