TASTING NOTE: Clear dusty ruby color. Attractive aromas of sundried plums, bright cherry, cinnamon, ripe red apple, leather, resin, and cedar with a satiny, crisp, dry-yet-fruity light-to-medium body and a polished, medium-length ripe cherry, dusty earth, ground black pepper, and dried herbs finish with dusty tannins and light oak. A modern-styled introductory weeknight Rioja. Exceptional. Score - 91 (tastings.com, Nov. 21, 2017) |
