| Deep intense purple colour. Slightly spicy, cedary, ripe plum-cherry nose with some sandalwood notes. Fairly dry, medium to medium-light bodied, spicy, slightly stewed plum-cherry flavours with a lingering, cedary, high acid, somewhat tart, slightly peppery, short finish. Tasted once. This 100% Monastrell has 14% alcohol and 5 g/L residual sugar with lot number L-5881 on the back label. Not up to the recommended 2013 (**) was released on August 19, 2017 at $13.95. |
