Very bright deep intense purple colour. Spicy, slightly dusty, red pepper-tinged nose with some dried plum-apple notes. Dry, medium bodied, spicy, somewhat dusty, dried plum-apple flavours with a lingering, fairly high acid finish. Has 13.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L0117 on the back label. TONY ASPLER / 87-points - Cedary, spicy, pencil lead and blackcurrant nose; medium-bodied, dry, firmly structured, red and blackcurant flavours with evident tannins and an orange peel note on the finish.
