Medium deep purple red colour. Slightly spicy, plum-apple nose with some hints of sage and licorice. Dry, medium bodied, plum-apple flavours with some hints of sage and licorice on the lingering, high acid finish. This 100% Cabernet Franc has 12.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar. Not as ripe and rich as the recommended best buy 2009 (**+) that was released on March 5, 2011 at $14.95. CSPC 196865
