Bright extremely deep purple colour. Savoury, herbal, somewhat austere, peppery, dusty apple-plum nose. Dry, medium bodied, somewhat peppery, tart, savoury, herbal, dried plum-apple-cherry flavours with a very crisp, high acid, celery-tinged finish. Contrary to the note appearing in the Vintages Catalogue, the actual blend is 87% Cabernet Sauvignon and 13% Malbec, which was matured for 12 months in French oak (13% new). Has 14% alcohol and 3 g/L residual sugar with a closure. CSPC 559872
