| Extremely deep intense purple colour. Intense, spicy, ripe black cherry-cassis-plum nose with some cedar notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, well structured, dense, spicy, intense, black cherry-cassis-plum flavours with lots of cedar notes on the lingering, high acid finish. This REPEAT blend of 87% Malbec and 13% Cabernet Franc that was aged for 14 months in 100% new French oak. It has 14.5% alcohol and now only 4 g/L residual sugar with only 5.9 g/L total acidity The NEW lot number L16C01 19/01/18 appears on the back label. The 2015 (***) was last released on November 25, 2017 at $39.95. TONY ASPLER / 91-points / TRY - Licorice, vanilla oak and black plum on the nose; full-bodied, dry, juicy black plum flavour with lively acidity and a firm structure. |
