SAUVIGNON BLANC 2015 Napa Valley
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer EMMOLO
Bright extremely pale straw colour. Spicy, slightly grassy, apple-lemon nose with some mineral notes. Dry, medium-light bodied, slightly spicy, grassy, lemon-apple flavours with a crisp, unoaked finish. This REPEAT has 12.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with a screwcap closure. It is considerably better than the 2015 (*/*+) that was last released on April 29, 2017 at $27.95. CSPC 96016

TASTING NOTE: This almost clear colored Sauvignon Blanc from the Napa Valley opens with a light lemon-lime bouquet with a hint of wet stone. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, balanced and fresh. The flavor profile is a mineral infused lime with notes of white pepper. The finish is dry and its flavors linger and last for quite some time. I would pair this tasty Sauvignon Blanc with grilled mahi-mahi.
