Vermentino di Sardegna is an appellation for wines made from the Vermentino grape variety grown on the stunningly beautiful Italian island of Sardinia, where it's typically picked early to retain its vibrant acidity. The Mediterranean climate means that bright, crisp white wines such as this are quite popular on the island - and they're perfect for summertime here, too. Look for crunchy orchard fruit, citrus and floral notes and pour the wine, lightly chilled, alongside fregola or couscous with asparagus and lemon. Price $ 14.95
Bottle Size 750 mL
Tasting Date vintages release - May 26, 2018
