LA MOYNERIE |
Bright medium straw colour. Very spicy, honeyed, floral, Chardonnay-Musque-inspired nose with some light mineral notes but no grassiness! Dry, medium-light bodied, harmonious, slightly spicy, attractive, ripe peachy-lemon-apple flavours with a lingering, honeyed, apple puree finish. A ready-to-drink crowd-pleaser. Has 13.5% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar. |

TASTING NOTE: This is a rich rounded wine that comes from the home estate of Michel Redde. The wood aging shows through in the toasty character while there is also a smooth vanilla character. Ripe yellow fruits give this wine its intensity. The wine is ready to drink. Score - 93 (Roger Voss, Wine Enthusiast, Oct. 1, 2017) |
