Bright medium straw colour. Intense, attractive, spicy, mineral-driven, gently grassy, firm, intense, ripe lemon-apple-melon nose. Dry, medium bodied, quite well structured, slightly spicy, bright, ripe lemon-melon-apple puree flavours with a lingering, high acid, very gently cedary, mineral-tinged finish. Has 13.5% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar with lot number LWS1401 on the back label. Screwcap closure. TONY ASPLER / 91-points / TRY - Lightly spicy reductive nose of cut grass, green plum and notes of oak; medium-bodied, dry, elderberry and gooseberry flavours with racy acidity. CSPC 282806

TASTING NOTE: Richer, weightier and more developed than the 2015. Still fairly austere with pronounced struck flint character. Quite fleshy with good, ripe and fruity acidity.
