OMBU TANNAT 2015 Atlántida, Canelones
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer BRACCO BOSCA
Extremely deep intense purple colour. Spicy, baked plum-apple nose with some cedary notes. Very dry, medium bodied, somewhat bitter, dried plum flavours with a lingering, fairly high acid, cedary finish. Has 13% alcohol and 3 g/L residual sugar. It is not a detour - the second sample had cork tca taint. TONY ASPLER / 87-points - Cedary, blackberry nose with oak notes and a light floral uplift; medium-bodied, dry, earthy, blackberry with some old barrel notes; acidic and tannic. A pass. CSPC 548537
