| Deep intense purple colour. Gently cedary, spicy, intense, plum nose with some cedar-sandalwood notes. Dry, medium bodied, quite well structured, spicy, ripe plum-cherry-apple flavours with a high acid, sandalwood finish. This SECOND REPEAT is a blend of 70% Garnacha, 20% Tempranillo and 10% Cariņena has 13.5% alcohol on the label and 2 g/L residual sugar with a new lot number L171620 on the back label. The recommended 2012 (**/**+) was last released on November 25, 2017 at $14.95. |

| TASTING NOTE: Young for cariņena and especially for Monasterio de las Viņas, the fruit is gainfully 2012 employed, ripe and fully extracted but the tannins are chalky, grainy and still in charge. The classic Cariņena florality lingers in the air and sits on the tongue. Expertly representative of the denomination and the house. Drink 2019-2023.
