| TASTING NOTE: The Touriga Nacional, Alfrocheiro, Tinta Roriz and Jaen used to craft this intriguing red were hand harvested and fermented separately in temperature-controlled tanks. The wines were then aged in stainless steel for 18 months and in barrel for four before blending. The resulting wine is quite floral with rich red and dark fruit and herbal overtones. Smooth and spicy with superb structure, this will be a great pairing for all of your favourite barbecue fare, from burgers and ribs through to steak. (Vintages panel, Sept. 2017) |
