Deep purple colour. Spicy, violet-tinged, ripe plum-cherry nose with some faint sandalwood notes. Dry, medium-light to light bodied, spicy, bright, plum-cherry puree flavours with a lingering, gentle, sandalwood-tinged, fairly high acid finish. This large Tuscan coop blend of 90% Sangiovese and 10% Merlot has 13% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar with a new lot number L18032 on the back label. You can safely ignore the dated 92-point tasting note appearing in the Vintages Catalogue. CSPC 540930
