Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer CASTELLO DI ALBOLA
Medium deep purple colour. Gently spicy, plum-apple nose with some slightly cedary notes. Dry, medium bodied, bright, very slightly spicy, tangy, lightish, plum flavours with some sandalwood and dried red cherries on the very crisp, sandalwood-tinged finish. This REPEAT has 13% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with a new lot number LB8022 1537 on the back label (vs. LB7100 for the previous shipment). The 2013 (**) was last released on August 19, 2017 at $18.95. You can safely ignore the old tasting note appearing in the Vintages Catalogue. CSPC 339937
