TASTING NOTE: A full-bodied Barolo with lots of chewy tannins and ripe fruit that shows dried berry, cedar and chocolate character. Light lemon rind on the finish. Needs at least three or four years to soften. Getting better in the bottle. Try in 2020. Score - 94 (James Suckling, jamessuckling.com, July 11, 2017) |
