TASTING NOTE: The Chorey-lès-Beaune growing area borders Aloxe-Corton and Savigny-lès-Beaune. In fact, the wines of Chorey-lès-Beaune were actually sold under these two prestigious names until 1970, when the region was awarded its own appellation. This 2015 offers a perfumed, aromatic experience with hedonistic sweet cherry and raspberry, plum, black chai tea and exotic spice notes. Fresh and approachable with supple, easygoing tannins. A refined choice for beef bourguignon or roast duck. (Vintages panel, April 2017) |
