Extremely deep intense purple colour. Intense, complex, slightly spicy, mocha-chocolate-tinged, ripe plum-cherry puree nose. Dry, medium bodied, well structured, slightly spicy, bright, ripe plum-cherry puree flavours with a lingering, gently cedary finish. This uber ripe blend of 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Petit Verdot has 13.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar. CSPC 526939

TASTING NOTE: Wines labeled Bordeaux Supérieur can be grown anywhere in Bordeaux and must be aged at least nine months. This one blends 70% Merlot with 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Petit Verdot and is showing lovely earthy, leather and licorice notes along with cherry, raspberry and blackcurrant. Stunning value.
