Deep intense purple red colour. Slightly spicy, fairly intense, mature, baked plum nose with some sandalwood notes. Dry, medium bodied, quite well structured, slightly spicy, baked plum and red licorice notes on the lingering, sandalwood-tinged finish. Ready-to-drink. This blend is usually two-thirds Merlot with one-third Cabernet Sauvignon and has 13.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L11 on the front label. It has been in Vintages four times before, most recently the 2012 (**) on June 11, 2016 at $26.95 with cspc 365817. This is very well-priced for a delicious 2004. CSPC 550392
