Fairly deep red colour. Slightly spicy, bright, somewhat herbal, plum-cherry nose with some sandalwood-cedar notes. Dry, medium bodied, slightly spicy, tangy, ripe plum-cherry-apple flavours with a lingering, fairly high acid, cedar-tinged finish. Has 13% alcohol and 5 g/L residual sugar. The result of a collaboration between The Hip and Stoney Ridge's head winemaker, Jeff Hundertmark, this wine blends Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Look for dark cherry, blueberry, plum, woodsmoke, chocolate and baking spices. Pair with pulled pork or steak sliders. Price $ 24.95
