Forward bright medium deep yellow colour. Quite attractive, spicy, honeyed, gently cedary, warm lemon meringue nose with some toasty lychee-tinged notes. Fairly dry, medium-full bodied, spicy, honeyed, tangy, ripe lemon meringue flavours with a lingering, cedary, crisp, fairly high acid finish. This Chardonnay Clone 809 (aka Chardonnay Musqué) based white has 14.9% alcohol and now 5 g/L residual sugar. A THIRD REPEAT of the 2015 (**+) that was last released on September 16, 2017 at $34.95. TONY ASPLER / 88.5-points - Spicy-clovey nose of apples with a floral note; full-bodied, dry, toasty, apple with a note of orange blossom (Muscat-like). TASTING NOTE: Rich honeysuckle, marzipan and oak aromas meet bright lemon grass on the nose of this bottling, showing both the fresh and oxidative sides of the grape.
