Bright medium deep straw colour. Slightly spicy, somewhat shy, faintly honeyed, floral, apple-melon nose. Fairly dry, medium-light bodied, slightly spicy, ripe apple-melon flavours with a lingering, mineral-tinged, fairly high acid, fresh, crisp finish. This 100% Clairette has 12.5% alcohol and 5 g/L residual sugar with lot number L17/019/1CC on the back label. Screwcap closure. You can safely ignore the ancient 96-point tasting note from 2016 appearing in the Vintages Catalogue. This batch was bottled on January 19, 2017. CSPC 521971
