OGIER HERITAGES COTES DU RHONE 2016 AC
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer OGIER
Very deep intense purple colour. Bright, very slightly spicy, attractive, fresh, ripe plum-cherry nose with some hints of cedar. Dry, medium bodied, quite well structured, tangy, fresh, ripe plummy flavours with some red cherry notes on the lingering, gently juicy, harmonious, crisp finish. Quite ready-to-drink. This tasty blend of 50% Grenache, 40% Syrah, 5% Mourvedre and 5% Marselan (a cross between Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache) has 14.5% alcohol and only 2 g/L residual sugar. TONY ASPLER / 88.5-points / BEST BUY - Intense, floral, spicy, blackberry nose with a licorice note. Medium to full-bodied, richly extracted flavours of black plum carried on lively acidity fill the palate ending on a spicy cinnamon note. The bottle number (in this case 04994) appears on the front label and it comes with a convenient screwcap closure. CSPC 535849
