TASTING NOTE: The Beamsville Bench continues to impress with the superb quality and elegance of the Riesling crafted here. Riesling loves the region's dolomitic limestone soils, which impart a remarkably pure mineral undertone to the wines. This 2016 from Creekside delivers on Beamsville's promise with style, showing bright ripe apple, lime and pear notes with a high-toned floral component and a vivid, driving acidity that keeps this on the drier side of off- dry. Try this with Korean spiced ribs or a creamy chicken curry. (Vintages panel, Sept. 2017) Price $ 21.95
