Extremely deep intense purple colour. Intense, spicy, ripe plum-black cherry puree nose with some faintly smoky, very cedary notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, plummy, crancherry flavours with a lingering, crisp, very cedary, high acid finish. This blend of Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Baco Noir was aged for 17 months in 65% French oak and 35% American oak. It has 13.5% alcohol and 5 g/L residual sugar. TASTING NOTE: This is a ripe, savoury, complex blend of Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and one of Pelham's great specialties, Baco Noir. It was aged for 17 months in 65% French oak and 35% American oak. The resulting wine offers blackberry, plum, strawberry, smoke, leather and spice, with a hint of black pepper.
