TASTING NOTE: You will be hard pressed to find more delicate flavour and soft French cream texture than in Mission Hill's '15 sauvignon blanc. I will buy shares in the ying yang, creamy to citrus dichotomy though the ying out-duels the yang in that department. This really reminds of what chenin blanc does in South Africa when fruit is let into the ripest zone and allowed to sleep on sweet, downy pillows. There is also something mountain tea herbal, especially on the palate, plus zip and a piquant bite that folds back in for a complex-spiced, orchard fruit barrel melt. Really good vintage and character from Mission Hill. Drink 2017-2019. Score - 89 (Michael Godel, winealign.com, Jan. 19, 2017) Price $ 22.95
