| TASTING NOTE: Vieni is an Ontario producer with an Italian sensibility. They craft not only fine wines but also Italian style grappas. This sparkling wine was produced using the Charmat method, the same process used to produce Prosecco. Here, it produces a wine with impressive floral, stone fruit and lemon citrus tones on the nose and palate. Crisp and fresh with a touch of mineral. (Vintages panel, Aug. 2016) |
