Extremely deep intense purple colour. Complex, intense, sandalwood-tinged, ripe plum-cherry puree nose with some gently cedary notes. Dry, medium bodied, harmonious, well structured, slightly spicy, fairly dense, ripe plum-cherry-cassis flavours with a lingering, high acid finish. Seems quite ready-to-drink. This blend of 32% Cabernet Franc, 23% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Petit Verdot, 10% Merlot, 9% Syrah, 8% Viognier and 4% Tempranillo has 13,4% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar. TONY ASPLER / 89-points / TRY - Spicy, black plum and vanilla oak bouquet; medium-bodied, dry. firmly structured, plum and clove flavour with evident oak on the finish. Hold 3-5 years. CSPC 552604

His skill and precision have helped the wines of Stratus become some of the most sought-after and admired in Ontario. The 2013 Weather Report is the first vintage of this wine, a remarkable and utterly unique blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Merlot, Syrah, Viognier and Tempranillo.
