Ambering intense deep purple red colour. Complex, faintly peppery, baked plum-cherry nose with some sandalwood notes. Very dry, medium-full bodied, fairly dense, quite well structured, slightly spicy, ripe plum-bitter chocolate flavours with a lingering, crisp, herb-tinged, fairly high acid finish. Has 14% alcohol and 3 g/L residual sugar with lot number L.15280 on the capsule. The 2010 (***) with 90-points was released on April 2, 2016 at $59.95. |

TASTING NOTE: I like the texture of this 2011 with plenty of ripe fruit and tannins yet polished and refined. Full body. Clean and fruity. Bright is the word to describe it. Drink or hold. Score - 93 (James Suckling, jamessuckling.com, Feb. 14, 2016) |
