A Vintage Assessments Explorer's Selection! |
TASTING NOTE: A blend of 55% Chard and 45% Viognier sourced from calcareous clay. A well-made wine that manages to highlight both the weight and creaminess of the Viognier and the lift and vibrancy of the Chard. Floral, with honey, peach, apple and tangerine aromas and flavours. Despite its weight, this is crisp and lithe enough to enjoy as a sipper, perhaps with a baked seafood dip. (Vintages panel, Feb. 2017) |
