Bright very light yellow colour. Intense, spicy, honeyed, bright, ripe lemon meringue nose with some toasty notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, well structured, complex, dense, intense, ripe lemon meringue flavours with a lingering, high acid, cedary finish. Quite ready-to-drink. Best with poultry. Has 14.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar. TONY ASPLER /90 -points / BEST BUY - Spicy, toasty-smoky nose of sweet rhubarb; full-bodied, richly extracted, apple, pineapple and toasty oak flavours. A well-balanced and delicious wine. |
