Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer ASTROLABE
Medium deep purple red colour. Intense, slightly spicy, clove-tinged, ripe plum-cherry nose with some sandalwood notes. Dry, medium bodied, quite well structured, ripe plum-crancherry flavours with a lingering, high acid, gently cedary, sandalwood-tinged finish. Tasty and ready-to-drink. Has 14.0% alcohol and 3 g/L residual sugar with lot number W16154 on the back label. Screwcap closure. Perhaps just a tad pricey but certainly worth trying. CSPC 538918
