Extremely deep intense purple colour. Slightly spicy, ripe plum-cherry puree nose with a hint of mocha-chocolate. Dry, medium bodied, quite well structured, spicy, baked plum-cherry flavours with some peppery, mocha-chocolate notes on the lingering, gently cedary finish. Quite ready-to-drink. This new blend of 40% Syrah, 30% Grenache, 15% Carignan and 15% Mourvèdre has 13.5% alcohol and 3 g/L residual sugar. TONY ASPLER / 88-points - Cedary, vanilla oak and blackberry nose; full-bodied, dry, fruity and firm with lively acidity and a minty note on the finish.
