ESPINO CARMENÈRE 2015 Maipo Valley
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer WILLIAM FEVRE
Extremely deep intense purple colour. Peppery, tight, dusty plum nose with some very spicy, artificial, floral notes. Dry, medium bodied, very firm, dusty, leafy, strident, dried plum-apple flavours with a very crisp, herbal finish. Even with 13.7% alcohol this very herbal Carmenere seems unripe and inaccessible. Has 4 g/L residual sugar and with lot number LE36 on the back label. The 2014 (*+) was released on September 3, 2016 at $15.95. CSPC 464412
