Kakheti is the most significant wine-producing region in Georgia. Archaeological evidence suggests that wine grapes have been cultivated in Georgia for at least 8,000 years. This wine is crafted from two indigenous varieties, the white grape Rkatsiteli and the red Saperavi. Expect a wine with fresh red fruit flavours and a sweetness balanced by vibrant, zesty acidity. Enjoy with spicy Korean ribs, or fruit pies. |
