Very deep intense purple colour. Fairly intense, slightly spicy, somewhat cedary, ripe plum nose. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, fairly dense, dried ripe cherry-plum flavours with a lingering, fairly intense, gently cedary finish. This blend of Garnacha, Tempranillo and Carignan has 13.5% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar with lot number L171221 on the back label. The recommended 2007 (**/**+) was released on July 23, 2016 at $17.95. It was the 2007 not the 2010 that was presented at both consultants previews in the LCBO lab. |

Aged for two years in oak and a further three in bottle before release, this dark, dense blend of Garnacha, Tempranillo and Carignan conveys a powerful sense of elegance and style. Try it with steak or a short-rib stew. |
