TASTING NOTE: The Upper Galilee is considered Israel's most visually striking wine region. Mountainous and forested, it features a mix of volcanic, gravel and terra rossa soils. This wine from Golan Heights (founded in 1983) offers impressive structure with generous red fruit and a round, full, complex mouthfeel. Enjoy this with roasted lamb. (Vintages panel, April 2017) |
