Get your calculator out: This Cabernet contains 78% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, 4% Ruby Cabernet (a cross of Cabernet Sauvignon and Carignan), 4% Zinfandel, 2% Rubired (a Californian hybrid based on Tinto Cão) and 2% Petite Sirah, sourced from prime sites in Lodi (62%), Clarksburg (28%) and Mendocino (10%). Fortunately, all you really need to know is that this all adds up to a complex, smoky, richly layered and flavoured wine that will be a great partner for grilled or braised beef dishes. |
