Deep intense purple colour. Slightly spicy, bright, dried, sweet apple-plum nose. Dry, medium bodied, spicy, mature, baked apple-plum flavours with a lingering, high acid, tin can and tropical fruit cocktail finish. Ready-to-drink. Tasted twice. One bottle was fizzy and still undergoing some refermentation. This blend of 50% Syrah, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Cinsault has 14% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar with lot number CF12 on the back label. TASTING NOTE: Beautiful, fairly deep, clean red. Quite delicate nose of stonefruits, ripe cherry and a whiff of smoke. Full, powerful attack yet refined, closely-integrated tannins. The finish stays fruit-driven with a jammy tone. Score - Gold (gilbertgaillard.com, 2015) Price $ 21.95
